My dear visitors,
I am so sorry that I have let you down by not updating my blog. The truth is that I am going through some tough physical challenges, and I am just drained of energy. I simply must walk with Jesus and say, “Thy Will be done.” You have to understand one major concept: God does not want any of His children to suffer. However, He does allow suffering to enter our lives upon occasion to make us stronger and to share in the Passion of Jesus Christ. The closer you come to Jesus, the more you will have to suffer either physically, emotionally or spiritually. I am walking with Jesus during my present sufferings.
Now, after taking a LONG break from the topic of this blog, I want to finish what I have started. Will there really be a Rapture and, if so, when will all of this take place? First of all, have you searched through the Bible to see if it mentions anything about the Rapture? Let us take a look at the Gospel of John 17:15 as Jesus prays to His Father Who is in Heaven: “I pray NOT that Thou should take them out of the world, but that Thou should keep them from evil.” Think about it. If Jesus asked His Father NOT to take us out of this world, then we are definitely not going anywhere! I believe I mentioned this in one of my blog entries: Look at how very much the Lord suffered during His Passion! We will never be able to understand to what depth He suffered. Any other human being would have died long before the final nailing to the cross. However, Jesus is both God and Man. Again, this is a concept that our finite minds cannot grasp. So, are we any better than Jesus Who suffered so greatly because He wanted to save us from our sins? See how much Jesus loves us! He opened His Arms wide on the cross. We can never measure how much The Son loves each and every one of us. Therefore, we cannot set ourselves above Jesus and say that we are going to be raptured into Heaven in order to be saved from the terrible tribulation that is going to come to this earth. Again, I am sorry to disappoint those people who think there is going to be a Rapture. NO, there will be NO Rapture. We are just going to have to ask Jesus for the strength to endure the sufferings that are emminent.
Now I would like to switch topics, and I will end with a quote from Dayspring Devotions. Each and every one of us have some talent or talents that God has entrusted to us. Should we just hide them under a blanket so our gifts will be hidden so no one can see them? No, we should utilize our talents to their fullest capacity so that all people may benefit from them. Therefore, I will leave you with this quotation:
Jones Design Company
Let Your Light Shine
You’re here to be LIGHT.
God isn’t a secret to be kept.
We’re going public with this,
as public as a city on a hill.
If I make you light bearers,
you don’t think I’m going to hide you
under a bucket do you?
I’m putting you on a light stand.
Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, SHINE.
Keep open house,
be generous with your life by opening up to others.
You’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in Heaven. Matthew 5:14-16
I pray that all who read this blog entry will be inspired by the Holy Spirit to grasp the whole meaning of this message. May each one of you be blessed by God in a very special way, and I pray that He will pour out His graces upon you all.
