I am now in my 3rd week of radiation therapy. I am due to have my final treatment on August 20th. I cannot have chemotherapy because it would probably kill me quicker than the radiation. However, Dr. P always reminds me that this is an aggressive, fast-growing cancer. I definitely want to do this for my family provided that the side effects are not overpowering. The main side effects from this radiation are nausea and diarrhea. They have been getting worse but NOTHING that Jesus and I can’t handle. My discharge date from this rehab. facility is set for August 8th. I am really getting excited! The truth of the matter is that I feel pretty good. I am anxious to get home and see Lucy, our dog. I really do not look like I am sick. I asked Jesus that I not outwardly show how BAD I am feeling on the inside. He has certainly honored my request. Everyone who sees me cannot believe I have terminal cancer. I have become somewhat popular on Twitter! I have about 150 followers. I am so excited! My followers mean more to me than a million dollars. You and I both know, do we not, that in order to help the poor in our local cities and towns, try to stay ahead of home repairs not to mention doctor and hospital bills, children needing money for college, pet paraphernalia and the list is as long as Methuselah is old! Seriously, I at least wanted to have a walk-in shower installed before going home. Also, the electrical system in our OLD house...

I guess I failed to keep my New Year’s resolution! So much has happened to me that I do not know quite where to begin. At the end of February I had my left foot operated on. It turned out that Dr. S removed an inclusion cyst that measured 17 cm across and it had tentacles just like one of the sea creatures that are found in the ocean depths. After a brief recuperation period, I was sent to the hospital’s physical therapy department. Briefly stated, I spent 6 extremely taxing days there until all the therapists and the doctors agreed that their program was simply too challenging for me. I was to be transferred to a local rehabilitation facility. I’m B — A — C– K!!! This was old turf to me! After all, this was my third trip to this facility. Oh, my, my room was all the way at the end of the hallway. That would never do, not a patient with a tracheostomy! It so happened that a few days after I had been there, something did not go as I had hoped so I told the social worker that I wanted to return home. The social worker and nursing supervisor coaxed me into staying. My room was changed to one closer to the nurses’ station, if you could call that close! Also, I would not have a roommate. Once more I was convinced! In May I was admitted to the hospital with respiratory distress. I pretty much hit the nail on the head – pneumonia again. The day before I left for the hospital,...

I am so sorry that I have neglected this blog for so long. All I can say is that I am a suffering servant of the Lord Jesus however willingly or not. I think that Jesus allows me to feel what different segments of the population are feeling such as the drug addict, the lonely and the schizophrenic. I think we should all make a new resolution for 2014. We should let God take the driver’s seat in our lives. However, don’t look for the dramatic or ostentatious to take place in your lives. Instead, try to listen for the still, small voice within your heart, and then follow what the Holy Spirit tells you. This will be our big task for this new year of 2014. God bless you all, thank you for following this blog and do not hesitate to take a look at my Ebook about the Final Battle. Follow the link on my website: www.armageddonguide.com. Love, joy and peace,...

Now may be the time to think about the End Times. Just think about it – look at the radical changes in the weather. For the last two weeks, much of the United States experienced a deep freeze with some of the coldest temperatures on record and snow in the Deep South! Elsewhere around the globe there are some “hot spots” that will be worth our watching. Please pray for the safety of all athletes as the Olympics at Sochi draw closer. Do all of the above comments make you begin to focus on the End Times? We never know when that time may come but we should always remain vigilant and prepared. Take a look at my website at www.armageddonguide.com and feel free to take a look around. Make sure to get my Ebook about the End Times and learn how to prepare for its coming! Peace be with you all,...

I am so sorry for neglecting my blog for so long. I have been in and out of hospitals since after Thanksgiving. I was just released from the hospital this past Wednesday. Since then, the Holy Spirit has inspired me to do something FRESH and NEW. You will hear more about it as soon as I get everything set up. I pray that the Lord’s words that He is having me write will help many struggling people. However, if only ONE soul is helped, it will be entirely worth it. May God bless you all! Peace and joy to you and I ask that you keep our newly elected pope, Pope Francis I, in your prayers....

Let us all pray for those who are and will be in the wake of this huge storm! I remember walking along the boardwalk from Bradley Beach to Asbury Park as a girl because my grandmother ran a boarding house at Bradley Beach. One of my friends who lives in New Jersey showed a picture of a shark swimming in the yard! We really have to take a step back and think is this a SIGN of the tribulation that is to come? Let us all over the world be faithful to God and maybe He will relent in things that are to come. I want to share a piece from “Meet Me in the Meadow”. There is so much we can meditate on!
